I used the Text Scanner (OCR) app to scan a page of the text. It was fairly fast for the software to take the image and have it converted to text. One negative aspect that I noticed was that there were a few typos in the conversion. I purposefully did not fix some of them in order to display an example of what I mean.
I learned that it is important to spell-check these programs, because they do still have potential for errors. I may possibly use this in my other classes. For example, if I write something out but need a typed version, I could use the app to scan it instead of typing it out.
